Why do Christians have particular attitudes towards sex, often different from the rest of culture? How does the Christian understanding of God, the world, and humanity shape the peculiar Christian sexual ethic? And to get more practical, how far is too far?

Tonight, we have a guest speaker, Bob Covolo. Bob was the former college pastor at Grace and is currently pursuing his PhD in theology. He has tremendous wisdom, particularly on this subject. Bring a friend!

This semester we will be pursuing wisdom together in a series called “Get Your Stuff Together.” We’ll be using the book of Proverbs in particular to help guide us in thinking through issues like wise speech, friendship, vocation, marriage, sex, singleness, etc. We hope to see you there!

Give Up: A Night of Worship

To worship God is to become more deeply human. Humanity was created to recognize its place before the Holy One, who is mysterious yet can be known, transcendent yet imminent, strange yet compelling.

The College Group joined up with Embody (the high school ministry at Grace) for a night of worshiping this God. It was a special night, as we were challenged and given opportunity to release our grip on our lives and reaffirm our trust in God’s grace and provision.

Broomball & Dessert

Join us at Chris Tyler’s house at 7:30pm for dessert, and then at 8:30pm we’ll head over to Glacial Gardens for an hour of broomball! This is a great event to bring a friend to. Cost is $10. And if you don’t know what broomball is, imagine an hour of slipping and cracking your head open on ice while your friends point and laugh. That’s the essence of broomball.
